The Integrative Approach

"Hear to help you recover"

Getting started with Physiotherapy

As physiotherapists, we are able to diagnose issues, treat injuries, and provide ongoing preventive care to help you ease pain, increase your strength, and improve your range of motion.

At PR Physiotherapy I know that recovering from an injury is not always easy or fun, but I am committed to helping you through a time of amazing transformation.

Through my years as a physiotherapist, I have seen that the greatest outcomes come from supporting the whole person, not just the injury. That’s why I am committed to ensuring you receive one-on-one care, high levels of support, and even some laughter along the way.

Getting started with Oncology

As a physiotherapist, I believe in supporting the patient as a whole. Each patient is given the individual attention that is needed to assist in their recovery.

Lymphedema is defined as a condition in which extra lymph fluid builds up in tissues and causes swelling. ~Cancer.gov~

It may occur in an arm or leg if lymph vessels are blocked, damaged, or removed by surgery that interrupts the normal function of the lymphatic pathways.

Clinical Pilates
noun | [ pi-lah-teez ]

a system of physical conditioning involving low-impact exercises and stretches designed to strengthen muscles of the torso and often performed with specialized equipment created by Joseph Pilates.

Clinical Pilates:

is a functional, targeted, individualized set of exercises with a focus on movement control. We'll be using the principles and concepts of Pilates in a clinical setting in combination with manual therapy, and hands-on facilitation to address either excessive mobility or restriction in range of motion and improve strength. Breathing techniques will be emphasized to improve your core activation and postural control.
